Our motto: A bad day outdoors beats a good day indoors!

AdventuRides Spring 2013

Join us as we explore 3 different routes each week over scenic country roads and enough civilized off-road routes to keep things interesting. We are mere mortals who believe "fitness is fun". We'll get great exercise and discover new places together. Starting locations vary each week, but will always be within 1/2 hour drive of Groton, Massachusetts. You will receive ride information each week by email and our website. Please make sure to register your email address. The first ride is free- come check us out

Equipment needed: You should be able to handle our rides on almost any well-maintained bike. An ANSI approved bicycle helmet and the ability to ride 1 1/2 to 2 hours (recreational rides ) or 3 hours (fitness rides) are also required. You will need to sign our waiver form before participating.

 MONDAY Beginner Rides.

Recreational rides: MONDAYS These rides are designed for riders who would like to participate in weekly adventures with us but lack the experience, stamina or confidence to join the Recreational Rides. We will cycle at a slower pace than on our other rides and will therefore cover less distance. The first ride is always free, so please try us out. Our early season rides will be on the rail trail and flat, easy roads. Our goal is to have fun with new AdventuRiders and returning riders who did not enjoy our increasingly faster pace! Depending on the abilities and desires of the group, early season rides may end a bit early as we work up to increased distances and time in the saddle. We are a supportive and friendly group and will NEVER leave anybody behind.

Locations: Local areas

Time: 12:30-2:30pm

Dates: Apr 1, 8, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, June 3, 10

Option 2: Unlimited beginner, recreational, and fitness rides per week $165

 MONDAY Recreational Rides.

Recreational rides: MONDAYS We will cycle approximately 12-18 miles at a leisurely pace adjusted to the desires and abilities of the group. You should have the ability to ride 1 1/2 to 2 hours, with regular breaks. The Recreational Rides combine on road and some civilized off-road. A sturdy road bike or hybrid bike is recommended. Each ride will be different. Therefore, we encourage you to do Beginner Rides, Recreational Rides and Fitness Rides as long as you are comfortable with the distances/paces of each class.

Locations: Local areas

Time: 9:30-11:30am

Dates: Apr 1, 8, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20, June 3, 10

Option 2: Unlimited beginner, recreational, and fitness rides per week $165

 FRIDAY Fitness Rides.

Fitness rides: FRIDAYS These rides are designed to allow for longer rides in the morning without the difficulty of getting back on the bike after (optional) lunch. Seriously, we will ride 20-30 miles at a moderate pace, with time for sightseeing. You should be able to ride 2 1/2 -3 hours, with regular breaks for sightseeing and rest. The Fitness Rides will be mostly on road, although we will occasionally ride dirt / gravel roads. We recommend either a sturdy road bike or a hybrid bike.

Locations: Local areas
