· Ms. Cathcart a tenant at 222 South Rd. had informed the Board that the landlord who had been given a 60-day extension on December 6, 2011 had until February 6, 2012 to correct the remaining violations, which have not been corrected. · The HA had inspected the apartment and a substantial amount of violations remain. · Ms. Cathcart explained she has not stopped the landlord from entering her apartment to fix the problems. · The landlord has taken this to court in hopes to have the court evict Ms. Cathcart from the apartment. · Mr. Durno wants the landlord, Joann Arsenault to be at the next meeting, to find out why she hasn’t corrected the violation and if we have to “we’ll take stronger action” by taking her to court if need be. · Mr. Marriner said “we have a list of violations that the landlord must make go away.” |
