Office Hours

The Emergency Management Agency does not keep regular office hours at Town Hall, although you can contact the Director as above.

 

 

Agency Services

 

Mitigation: Those activities which eliminate or reduce the probability of disaster.
Preparedness: Those activities which governments, organizations, and individuals develop to save lives and minimize damage.
Response: Those activities which prevent loss of lives and property and provide emergency assistance.
Recovery: Those short and long term activities which return all systems to normal or improved standards.

 

Emergency Management Operational Units

 

Auxiliary Police: This is a volunteer arm of the Emergency Management Agency that helps the Pepperell Police Department. The Auxiliary works in concert with, and under the guidance of the Chief of Police. The organization exists to suppliment the town's full time police force in state's of emergency or other significant events in which additional law enforcement staffing is required.

Emergency Response Unit: Additional communications and response capabilities may be required in an emergency, and alternative systems will be put in place and used by the Emergency Response Unit. including R.A.C.E.S.

Local Emergency Planning Committee: This committee meets at regular intervals to provide a forum to coordinate the preparedness activities of the town departments most directly involved in responses to emergency incidents. The committee includes the managers of the town departments directly involved in emergency incidents.
